LOOKING FOR THE STAR IN SYDNEY

If you go to the south
You can find a star
That makes you ask yourself
Who you really are.
The national flag of Australia includes
the stars of the constellation Southern Cross,
while the coat of arms of the same continent-country
also includes a star.
Stimulus to us to look for another star in Sydney,
for which we found out two main routes,
each of them going to the Tumbalong Park,
that is adorned by fascinating “jacaranda” trees.
*
One of them is the Liverpool Street…
The other route starts from the Central Station
and passes through a “Chinese” area…
From now on, the Darling Cove,
from where we could see Sydney’s skyscrapers from the west…
and other interesting places…
and even a façade of The Star without any symbol…
Suddenly, in exchange,
a celestial natural phenomenon over North Sydney:
the twilight!
We began to come back…
And finally,
our target!
The Star is a famous casino
(open in 1995),
which we looked for its artistic symbols,
not for gambles.
But, in spite of any personal intention,
life on Earth is itself a casino
depending on a star.
