PASS 08: FEELINGS

Every moment we make choices.

I chose the cherry on the cake: the eclipse!!!

With its incredible colours.

With its mysterious darkness.

With the fairy of the warm air balloons

trying to close to it.

3 minutes and 45 seconds:

all beautiful things in life last very little,

right…?

it was a funny day here...

we were working on the garden at that time

and we couldn't pay as much attention to the eclipse

as i would have wanted...

but i managed to make a “pin hole” observatory

that amazed my neighbors...

plus we kept running in the house to see the progress

on both the tv and the computer.

it was really funny to do all that at the same time as the garden!!

what a circus!!

Modern times mean that
You can work in the garden
And watch the TV...

Showing photos of the sun
As a shadow eats its light -
The lovely warmth fades.

 

Village folk look up
The sun as disappeared and
A dark fear arrives.

 

Pots, pans bang loudly
Even the sheep look skyward
Please come back oh Sun!

 

Slowly, light returns
The gods have forgiven all
Life is again good.

 

What an awesome sight
My brain cannot grasp the why
Real darkness at noon.
