TO THE PLACE OF COPERNICUS

In September 2002
the SARM team traversed Poland in order to participate
at the International Meteor Conference in Frombork,
the native town of Nicolaus Copernicus(1473-1543),
founder of the heliocentric planetary theory.

We didn’t want to become
star knights
in the Malbork Castle of the Teutonic Knights.

We didn’t want to become
friends of supernovae
on the Long Square street in Gdansk.

We didn’t want to become
nobles of the galaxy
in Krackow, in the Royal Castle.

We just wanted to enter
the fortified Cathedral in Frombork
where the Earth began
to move around the Sun.
